Here again is Bruce Hayse (rowing). In back are the two Central African Republic nationals that joined our group: tracker Thomas Kolaga (right) and soldier Raymond Yakoro (left). We hired Thomas to help us spot wildlife.

Bruce's style of travel is unorthodox, which probably scares people off. But I gelled to it.
