Gathering kindling for the fire
"We huddled under a tarp in the pouring rain for a couple hours, essentially just waiting for the moment when the fire was about to die out. When it did, someone would have to go back out in the cold rain to get fire woodand it was really cold out there.
"The group stayed in good spirits despite the rainthat's the great thing about the outdoors. What are you going to do? You can't stop the rain. We hunkered down for a little bit, but we still managed to go out and do some kayaking."
