The Young Explorers' Club
The next generation of adventurers reveal their plans to see the world and beyond.
This spring, Adventure's editor in chief John Rasmus received 17 letters from Alison Sheridan's fourth-grade class located in New York's Finger Lakes region, the results of a writing assignment called "Extreme Adventure." Each student came up with an idea for an expedition, laid out a plan to make it happen, and pitched it to the magazine. Even though Adventure can't send the young explorers on their unique expeditions (imagine the permission slips for these field trips!), we were so impressed with the students' creative ideas that we couldn't resist sharing a few online.
