"My housemate Charlene and I spent 5 weeks touring the highlights of Africa. At the end of the first week, our 16-person group headed into Tanzania'sNgorongoro Crater for a day-long safari. We sat in silence for an hour-and-a-half watching these two young male lions stalk the buffalo and zebras. Soon they blew their cover, and the zebras scooted out of striking distance. Our guide said lions rarely attack buffalo (as lions usually come out second best), and female lions generally do the hunting. These little males were probably just practicing."
