Mount Hood Search for Lost Climbers 

Exclusive photos from high on Oregon's Mount Hood during the December 2006 search for three lost climbers.

From a helicopter, rescuers spotted the climbers' footprints near Mount Hood's summit. The subsequent storms' high winds etched away the surrounding snow, leaving clear evidence, like fossils trapped in time, of their travel even a week after their passage.
