In this photo, I was taking time to reflect on the evening of our last passage of the first leg before hauling Swell out in Puntarenas, Costa Rica, for repairs. The sunset was spectacular—there was even a rainbow. While looking out at the calm waters off the Península de Nicoya in Costa Rica, I couldn't help thinking about the fabulous people I had met, the incredible waves I had surfed, the natural beauty I had witnessed, and the good fortune that had accompanied us in the first five months of the trip. The whole thing seemed almost surreal. —Liz Clark
