Gustave: Have You Seen This Crocodile?
A cold-blooded killer is on the loose. His name is Gustave. He's 20 feet long (6 meters), weighs 2,000 pounds (907 kilograms), and stands accused of devouring hundreds of people. Writer Michael McRae and photographer Bobby Model traveled to war-torn Burundi to confront the man-eater.

Gustave is believed to have claimed more than 300 victims. This number pales in comparrison to the death toll of Burundi's bloody conflict between Hutu insurgents and the Tutsi-dominated government, a fire which started burning in 1993. These crosses mark the graves of Tutsi refugees massacared in the village of Gatumba in August 2004.
