At Anga, the village adjacent to the park headquarters, I came across a man proudly making snares. He displayed a group of the metal wires that he will sell or use himself to catch small antelopes and other animals in the area. Many of the local residents do not understand the concept of a national park nor do they have any idea where the park's borders are. For several years, Jo has been trying to get border signs posted along the park trails in an effort to increase awareness.
