On a February morning of this awesome 16-day Antarctic voyage, we anchored and landed in
St. Andrew's Bay in
South Georgia. It was one of the most gorgeous moments on our trip, with beautifully calm waters, mild air temperatures, and breathtakingly abundant wildlife, such as king and Gentoo penguins, elephant and fur seals, and skuas. I could not resist photographing this king penguin incubating an egg against the backdrop of thousands that dotted this gorgeous landscape. It was the epitome of what this grand continent is all about.
