Ireland Photo Gallery: The Wild West Coast It's Ireland's Gilded Age! So go on: Surf a mythic 40-foot (12-meter) break, kayak the crystalline coastline, and hike the unmarked wilds. But please, for your own good, don't step in the fairy blood. Photograph by Alex Di Suvero
This picture of a coffee klatch is indicative of how I often like to create a foreground veil for a shot. The town of Glengarrif is coming of age and has lots of pretty painted buildings. But a straight shot of the place tends to look like a postcard. I think that's why the editors chose this frame instead of the one shot out in the street. —Contributing Photographer Alex di Suvero
