Depart from Nairobi, Kenya, early in the morning
to drive north through the
farmlands of the Kikuyu
people. Arrive at Naro Moru in time for lunch.
The village sits at the foot of Mount Kenya, Africa's
second highest mountain at 17,057 feet (5,199
meters). The Kikuyu people deified Mount Kenya
and actually built all of their houses with doors
facing this majestic peak.
Lunch and dinner are provided.

Day 2-3: Samburu Game ReservePhoto: Giraffes
Samburu Game Reserve is home to a number of
wildlife species rarely found elsewhere.
Enjoy two days of game viewing in search of
animals such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided.

Day 4: Lake NakuruPhoto: Elephant
Passing the northern tip of the Aberdare
Mountains, then descending into the Great Rift
Valley

Lake Nakuru. The shallow soda lake is renowned for its large concentration of flamingoes.
Spend the afternoon game viewing in the park.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided.

Day 5-6: Maasai Mara Photo: Lion
With vast plains and distinctive flat-topped acacia
trees, the Maasai Mara provides a stunning back-
drop for a spectacular part of the journey.
Fantastic game viewing opportunities abound as
we drive to the reserve. The Maasai Mara is famous
for its excellent chances of seeing the Big Five–lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided.

Day 7: Depart Nairobi
