Central Park, New York

The massive park, which covers 843 acres (340 hectares)—six percent of the city's total area—contains 58 miles (93 kilometers) of pedestrian trails, 26,000 trees, 9,000 benches, and 21 playgrounds. Some 25 million visitors come to this famed New York City landmark every year.
