Chimpanzees

Chimpanzees are humans’ closest relatives. They live in Africa, where they spend a lot of time on the ground, although they also climb among the trees. A chimp’s hands and feet (lower left) can easily grip branches and objects. Chimps communicate with each other by vocalizing (lower right).
