These leggy mammals are the tallest animals on the planet. Adult males can grow to nearly 19 feet (6 meters) tall! Giraffes live on the grasslands of Africa, where they eat leaves, twigs, and tree bark. Their long necks and tongues help them reach the tops of the trees (upper left).
