 Red Kangaroos
Red kangaroos live in Australia and nearby islands. When a female kangaroo gives birth, the baby, called a joey, is only about the size of a lima bean. It moves immediately to its mothers pouch, where it stays for about eight months while it grows and develops (at bottom).
