Koalas
Koalas live in eastern Australia. They spend nearly all of their time in trees, where they eat eucalyptus leaves. Their paws are adapted to help koalas grip branches (lower left). Koalas also have an excellent sense of smell (lower right), which helps them detect poisonous leaves.
