Leopards are good climbers and often rest high in trees during the day. They also sometimes hide food on high branches where hyenas, lions, and vultures can’t reach it. Dark spots called rosettes on their yellowish fur help camouflage the cats (lower left), and large eyes help them see well at night (lower right).
