Daniel Stone

Daniel Stone is a senior writer for National Geographic magazine, where he covers environmental science and agriculture. He has written about urban farming in Germany, aquaculture in Panama, coffee innovation in Brazil, and has circled the world on assignment for the magazine. He formerly covered the White House for Newsweek and the Daily Beast. He has a masters in environmental science from Johns Hopkins University. His book, The Food Explorer, on the botanical adventures of food spy David Fairchild, will be published by Dutton Books (Penguin Random House) in 2018.
