The Pyramids always take a visitor's breath away, in part because of their size, shape, and beauty but also because of the mind-numbing amount of work they obviously entailed. It took a force of 20,000 to 30,000 men about 80 years to build the monuments at Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (pictured), experts believe.
