This giraffe has a powerful and complex neck but instead of muscles and bones, it has pistons and pressure valves. A real giraffe has a very large and powerful heart that pumps blood long distances via vessels to give it life. The robot version is no different, but instead uses compressed air through nylon tubing to animate itself. The giraffe is your host to the Robot Zoo exhibit. |
