Traditional re-cognition: The research for water environment protection tradition and practical significance of minority ethnic at Qingshui valley, Guizhou Province, China

Organization: Guizhouren Public Action Network

Amount: $20,000

Truly involving "citizen science," in this project we will collect valuable local knowledge and methods of sustainable living within the ethnic group in the Qingshui River Basin, Qiandongnan. Recognizing that this group has been living harmoniously with nature for many years, the project will find the most appropriate and logical methods to reduce the pressure that human activities put on our environment and achieve more sustainable development.
