Eugene Yu is Senior Advisor to the National Geographic Air and Water Conservation Fund and concurrently Senior Vice President of IDG Asia/China.

Eugene started his career as a Chinese diplomat in 1986. He left the government and joined the private sector in 1999. Over the past 13 years, he worked successively as the Vice President of Government Affairs and Business Development of American Standard (China) Ltd., Managing Director of Baker Donelson International, China, Country General Manager and chief rep of Motion Picture Association, China, and Senior Vice President of IDG Aisa/China.

Eugene enjoys reading, singing, meeting with people, and sports, especially table tennis and Chinese chess.
