If the Distillery District isn't on your "Toronto must do" list, you're missing out on a true gem! Originally the site of the Gooderham and Worts Distillery, this village of 30 brick and stone industrial buildings (constructed between 1859-1927) is designated as a site of national historic importance. Architecture buffs will swoon over the Victorian Industrial Architecture, the largest and best preserved collection in North America. Home to live theatre, galleries, boutiques, artisanal cafes, award-winning restaurants, and Toronto's own local brewery, it's as vibrant during the day as it is at night. Pedestrian only traffic adds to the charm.
