Storm Chaser's High-Tech Truck

Josh Wurman monitors weather data from within a DOW, or Doppler on Wheels. The van, fully-equipped with a six-foot-wide (two-meter-wide) Doppler antenna, records details of storms—clouds, debris, and other storm-intensity indicators. The storm shown on the right-hand screen occurred in Colorado in June 2002.
