Ready? Set? Go Wild and Take Action!
I’m Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys. Besides music, my passion is the environment, and preserving it.
As Americans, we have been given an amazing gift of more than 600 million acres of public land to enjoy and explore. Some public lands may be across the nation from you, but others are right in your backyard.
National Geographic and I are asking everyone who reads this page (this means you!) to take action by completing a conservation activity to protect Americas public lands! These activities can take as little as five minutes of your time
but their impact on the land can last a lifetime.
Once you complete your activity, we want the world to know about your efforts! Just fill out a simple Tell Us! Form, and your name and action will be featured on the Geography Action! Americas Backyard Web site.
