The Film: Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets
At the Grand Canyon, the giant-screen theater at the National Geographic Visitor Center shows the giant-screen movie Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets hourly, 365 days a year. Viewed by nearly 40 million people since its debut 20 years ago, Grand Canyon is the highest-grossing giant-screen film of all time.
Soar from the sky-high canyon rim to the twisting depths of the canyon, courtesy of our six-story-high screen. Meet the mysterious Anasazi people, who inhabited the canyon 4,000 years ago, and brave the raging Colorado River with daredevil explorer John Wesley Powell in 1869.

Anniversary Exhibits
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the premiere of National Geographic's film Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets, Nature Valley is sponsoring an updated exhibition on the making of the movie. At the National Geographic Visitor Center at the Grand Canyon, get an inside look at how this classic giant-screen movie was made. See props, including replica boats, and a gallery of images from the film.
