Through live events, lectures, and exhibits, the National Geographic Society presents firsthand accounts, gripping imagery, and immersive experiences of its explorers, photographers, scientists, and experts.

Located at Society headquarters in Washington, D.C., the National Geographic Museum at Explorers Hall produces high-quality exhibits offering visitors the chance to experience firsthand the compelling stories, stunning images, and scientific research associated with National Geographic.

Did You Know?
In 2006, National Geographic exhibits reached an audience of more than 4.5 million worldwide.

The museum turns out more than 15 temporary exhibits each year, while maintaining some 14 traveling exhibits available for rent to domestic and international venues. Recent exhibits include Crittercam, Photo Camp Uganda, and Zakouma, Elephant Crisis in Chad.

The National Geographic Live! program consists of live lecture events that bring captivating stories and fascinating people to stages around the country. The dynamic individuals who are often featured in National Geographic's media travel to audiences nationwide to share in person their captivating stories of life in the field. In addition, fully integrated student programs are offered nationwide with support from individuals and committed local partners.

National Geographic's Radio Programs explore the natural world, threatened environments, and diverse cultures, and bring them to you locally through informative programming. The newest program, Climate Connections, is a collaboration between National Public Radio (NPR) and the National Geographic Society about the relationship between Earth and her inhabitants. Another program, World Talk, features conversations from around the globe with the world's most compelling scientists, explorers, photographers, and thinkers.

The All Roads Film Project also brings compelling stories from abroad-specifically indigenous and under represented minority cultures- to local and national audiences through powerful film and photography.

Donate Today! Your tax-deductible gifts will help us maintain and improve the quality of our events, lectures, and exhibits, allowing us to reach an ever-larger audience.

Corporate sponsors, in particular, will find that these programs offer a unique opportunity to reach a diverse audience of citizens interested in the world around them.
