The Grosvenor Council is an international group of individuals who demonstrate their commitment to the Society by donating $1,000 or more annually. Council members' gifts support expeditions and scientific fieldwork, promote conservation, encourage geographic "fluency" in today's youth, and engage the public through exhibits, live events, film and new media.

Today's advances in science and the broadening definition of exploration require new approaches to fulfill National Geographic's mission and inspire people to care about the planet. Members of the Society's Grosvenor Council are keeping exploration vibrant in the 21st century and beyond by providing the critical support that enables new generations of explorers and researchers to address them.

Partner with National Geographic and inspire people to care about the planet by joining the Grosvenor Council.
