Sacagawea

Alex Rice as Sacagawea, a Shoshone teenager

In addition to the service Sacagawea rendered as guide and translator, she was also a valuable liaison between the expedition and her Shoshone people. A chance encounter with her long-lost brother, the chief of the Shoshone, secured horses the expedition desperately needed to cross the Great Plains.
