June 9, 1806, at Camp Chopunnish, Idaho County, Idaho.
 

Description
A biennial perennial with a single stem or surrounded at the base by several lesser stems. Gray-green fuzzy leaves. White or light purple flowers.
 

Habitat
Dry, open, rocky slopes at lower elevations to moderate elevation in the mountains.
 

Range
Western U.S.
