Description
An aster, with tiny, yellow, radially symmetrical flowers forming a central disk; larger white or pink rays surrounding central disk. Long, thin leaves.
 

Habitat
Streambanks and other moist places from low elevation valleys to moderate elevations in the mountains.
 

Range
From southern British Columbia south through Washington and Oregon to California, east to Saskatchewan and New Mexico.
