Biography

“A Gypsy girl dances flamenco at a party in the garden of the Baptiste family home. The surroundings are different from Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, but there’s all the ambiance and joviality of the festival. A few bottles of whiskey help, though. Music and dance are a part of the daily life of the Gypsies; children pick up the nuances and spirit of their culture from the day they are born.”
