Photograph Shooting Baskets

A freshly washed horse dries in the sun as boys shoot baskets near White House Stable in North Philadelphia. “After school, kids show up to earn money at the stable by doing odd jobs,” says Tarver. “They muck stables, and wash and groom horses. They’re the new generation of inner-city cowboys.”
