Prize bucking stock charge for the back of an open truck as rancher Michael Latting looks on. “Bucking stock is a another name for the horses used in bronco-riding competitions at rodeos,” says Tarver. “Latting and his father Theryl are one of the largest producers of bucking stock in the United States. Based in Robins, Illinois, just outside Chicago, the Latting Rodeo Company plays venues at country fairs, rodeos, and other events throughout the midwest.”
