Answer: a. the burial mound of the Pazyryk people.
To construct the grave, a subterranean chamber was dug and lined with larch logs. This chamber was always oriented along an east-west axis to follow the cycle of the sun and therefore the cycle of birth and death. The grave was then capped with a mound of rocks, sometimes as high as 9 feet(2.7 meters). (From the EXPLORER film Ice Tombs of Siberia.)
