What you said about the experiment:
- The foods with more texture, like the lemon rind, were easier to identify.
- Kalynda from Maine, U.S.A.
- My mother was a darn good sport. She missed every one. It is probably easier to tell the different kinds of foods apart because of their effect on your tongue.
- Caroline from Maryland, U.S.A.
- I think that foods with a more distinct taste were easier to identify. For example: The onion and the lemon were identified and the potato and the apple were not.
- Kiri from Maryland, U.S.A.
- Onion was VERY easy. I had lots of fun doing this experiment with my friend Wesly.
- T.J. from Colorado, U.S.A.
- Try hot peppers!
- Aleaha from the U.S.A.
- The lemon was easier to identify because of its sour taste.
- Drew from New Jersey, U.S.A.
- We didn't have any apples or onions, so we used carrot, potato, lemon rind, mozzarella cheese, prune, and popcorn. I guessed carrot right, but potato, cheese, and popcorn tasted the same (like textured water!). Prune tasted totally grosssweet and slimy. Lemon tasted sour, but I couldn't tell it was lemon.
- Lohr from Montana, U.S.A.
- Strong or dull-smelling foods were easiest.
- Christine from Georgia, U.S.A.
- It seems pretty funny that we missed the potato, because were from the potato state.
- Halem from Idaho, U.S.A.
- The easiest food to know was the onion.
- Aseel from Bahrain
- Try ketchup, it works pretty darn well.
- Emily from Missouri, U.S.A.
- Try fish, macaroni, green beans, and olives.
- Emily from Indiana, U.S.A.
- Smell is an important component in identifying foods. Mouth and tongue only help you understand the texture and feel of the food.
- Gautam from California, U.S.A.
