2. Make a muscle with your writing arm, holding your yo-yo near your shoulder. Your other hand should be waist-high with your index finger pointing forward.
3. Before releasing your yo-yo, aim it slightly in the direction of your outstretched finger. Bring your elbow down with a snap and release the yo-yo. It should zip over your extended finger so that the yo-yo hits the end of the string about one to two yo-yo lengths from your finger.
4. To return the yo-yo to your hand, pull the extended finger out of the string.
