Imagine 13,056 pints of milk stretching down a suburban street, a 50-foot (15-meter) wall of appliances, and a river of 28,433 rubber ducks representing showers, each group showing one person's lifetime usage. These are just some of the staggering images from the National Geographic Channel show, "Human Footprint", which documents the cradle-to-grave consumption of an average American boy and girl. This companion exhibition explores the global impact of consumption.
The Human Footprint project is a partnership between National Geographic Museum, National Geographic Channel, and Wildlife Conservation Society.
