Recently unearthed by National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Paul Sereno, Nigersaurus, the reptile from Niger, was one of the most common herbivores of its day. With a long neck, approximately 500 teeth, and a head permanently rotated toward the ground, this dinosaur gobbled up ferns and soft-water plants. See a life-size replica skeleton of Nigersaurus, an African pterosaur wing, and touch a piece of fossilized wood.
