Photograph by Robert B. Haas

Through the Eyes of the Gods offers a photographic glimpse into the inaccessible, unspoiled, and breathtaking corners of Africa. Spending hours hanging on the side of a helicopter, photographer Robert B. Haas was fueled by his passion to unearth a side of Africa hidden from everyday view. Whether stretches of desert too remote to cross or deltas too marshy to navigate, the images give access to places that are virtually impossible to reach from the ground. The results are an unparalleled look at some of our planet’s last wild expanses.
