Reduce the amount of time your family spends driving.

Reduce the amount of time your family spends in the car—walk, ride your bikes, carpool!

Driving 15 minutes less a week can save 900 pounds (408 kilograms) of CO2 a year. If driving is the only option, ask your parents to buy a more fuel-efficient car. Driving an electric or hybrid car can save 5,600 pounds (2,540 kilograms) of CO2 a year.
