IF YOU PICK CLEAR QUARTZ, YOU SEEK TO SEE WHAT OTHERS DON'T.

♦ OLDEN DAYS MYTHS
Clear quartz crystal, or rock crystal, was said to bring one's intuition to the surface. It would help people see beyond the obvious into the realm of thought and spirit, and even into the future. It's believed by many to be the ultimate seer's stone.

♦ ROCK-SOLID FACTS
Quartz is abundant on Earth. Clear rock crystal quartz has no impurities to color it. Colored quartz crystals have other names, such as citrine, amethyst, and rose quartz.

♦ ROCK ON
Many "crystal" balls that you see at carnivals, in stores, and in the movies are made of materials such as lead glass, which are created by people, rather than quartz crystal, which occurs naturally.
