I can’t think of one specific endangered animal, but I can think of ALL endangered animals. People are killing them for enjoyment and money. The ecosystem is “knocked off balance” every time a person kills an animal. The strong animals eat the sick and old animals. The Chinese should stop buying parts of animals like (grizzly bears) for medicines. These animals were put on Earth for a reason, and I don’t think the reason was for making medicine! And hunters should stop hunting for fur and trophies. An animal’s head doesn’t belong on a wall. Many other people and I would prefer to see these heads on live animals in the wild. We have to stop “KILLING THE ANIMALS.” The Earth needs them to keep the ecosystem in balance.

I was born in Africa. For several years I lived in the bush. I hear the sad cases of elephant and rhino poaching, and it makes me so mad. The ivory tusks and the rhino horns are worth a fortune. I just can’t stand it. For example, Chinese herbalists use tiger bones in 'potions,' although the tiger is near extinction, and there are modern medicines and everything. And fur, when I see someone wearing fur I want to throttle them on the spot. But worst of all are the poachers who don't always kill the animal, but leave it lying there to die a slow and painful death. When I think of it, my blood starts to boil. It should be stopped!

If I could save one animal it would have to be elephants. The reason I picked the elephant is because it is such a beautiful animal. The elephants here in Thailand are poor! They are abused by their mahouts or keepers who take them to the city and beg for food. This is not actually the mahouts’ fault.
