How to Play NG Kids News More Food Force Missions Learn About Hunger

How to Play

In mission 1 you are in a WFP surveillance helicopter with Carlos. You have to guide the helicopter with your mouse—moving over the groups of people to count them.

You can click the mouse to make the helicopter go faster, but you only have 7 'turbo' boosts to use.

You have to move around the entire map to get a full score. But move fast, the clock is counting down!

While flying, Carlos will tell you facts about the crisis.

You can click the i button on the game above at any time to pause and review the game instructions.

This game is a web-friendly Shockwave preview of Food Force. You can download the full version of Food Force from the World Food Programme Web site at www.food-force.com.

GLOBAL HUNGER FACTS
• There are over 800 million hungry people in the world—more than the combined populations of the United States, Canada, and Western Europe.

• A child dies every five seconds from hunger-related causes. This year, ten million people will die of hunger, more than the entire population of New York City.

• Hunger and malnutrition are the number one risk to health worldwide. More people die from hunger than in wars.
