Surprise
burning questions with author Lemony Snicketphoto: Lemony Snicket

Introduction | Questions: Part I | Questions: Part II

If you are interested in an interview with a happy ending, we suggest immediately clicking to another screen. Dylan, 12, of New York, U.S.A., survived his unfortunate interview with author Lemony SnicketThis is because National Geographic Kids had the unfortunate idea to talk to Lemony Snicket, the author of "A Series of Unfortunate Events" books. They tell the miserable tale of the Baudelaire orphans, who find themselves in horrible situations, usually involving the evil Count Olaf.

But Mr. Snicket is so scared of the press—even of our reporter, 12-year-old Dylan—that he sent his representative, Daniel Handler, to answer our questions. You can read what he said below—or be smart and read something happier.

Hmm. Seems strange that Daniel Handler ALWAYS shows up where Lemony Snicket is supposed to be. Maybe they're the SAME PERSON...
