HERE'S HOW
1. Tear colored tissue paper into pieces the size of your palm or smaller.
2. Fill a plastic cup or bowl about one-third full with warm water and add three strong squirts of white glue. Stir with the paintbrush until the mixture is the consistency of milk.
3. Hold a piece of tissue paper flat against the jar and coat the entire piece with the water-glue mixture. (Don't worry if the paper gets creased or folded; it adds texture.)
4. Repeat, overlapping the tissue paper edges until the jar is covered.
5. Let it dry overnight before gluing on words or letters.
