Reptile expert Brady Barr has made it his life’s work to study and protect some of the world’s most dangerous land animals—alligators and crocodiles. He is the first person to capture and study all 23 species of wild crocodilians.

Nearly one-third of all crocodile species are considered endangered; closer to home, as people continue to develop communities in habitat areas, attacks on humans are increasing. Barr hopes his research will help people and large reptiles in these overlapping habitats learn to coexist safely.

Barr has hosted or contributed to over 70 wildlife documentaries, including the ongoing series Dangerous Encounters, on the National Geographic Channel. True to the series title, Barr recently survived an attack by a 12-foot reticulated python while working in a dark cave in Indonesia.

Join us for an exciting evening as this dynamic scientist shares highlights from his research and adventures around the world.
