Spencer Wells is a leading population geneticist and director of National Geographic and IBM’s groundbreaking, multiyear Genographic Project, the largest genetic study of human migration ever undertaken. It is Wells’ hope that the project will capture an invaluable genetic snapshot of humanity, showing us how we came to populate the planet, before modern-day influences erase our paths.
