Well-known in Québec, Rosheen is still new to most in the United States, but is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the most exciting groups in Celtic music. With a repertoire of traditional and original songs—featuring the crystal voice of singer, songwriter, and group founder Lynn Valliéres—the seven-member band has excited crowds at the Montreal International Celtic Music Festival and Québec City's Le Festival Nouvelle-France. A self-titled CD is already spreading the band's blend of jigs, reels, haunting ballads, and self-described "hellish polkas" far beyond Canada. Don't miss this chance to catch a rising group in the world of traditional music.

Co-sponsored with the Embassy of Canada.
