  • Is there a student discount?

    There are some student discounts but not at every seminar. If you are interested, please call us to inquire. See last question for contact information.

  • What is the Cancellation Policy?

    If for any reason you need to cancel prior to five days before the seminar, a $45 cancellation fee will be assessed for a full-day seminar and $35 for a half-day seminar. There will be no refund for cancellation less than five days before the seminar.

  • Who should register?

    All levels of photographers can benefit from our seminars. However, the material is mostly targeted for advanced beginners and intermediate level photographers.

  • What is the format for the seminars?

    The seminars are lecture-based and held in auditoriums. These seminars are not hands-on; you will not be out photographing. All-day seminars include two breaks and a lunch. Half-day seminars will include one break with refreshments.

  • Will there be an opportunity for me to ask questions?

    There will be a few question & answer sessions during the seminars and the photographers will be available for informal one-on-one conversation during the breaks and lunch.

  • What is the cost for a seminar?

    The all-day seminars are $199.00 for each seminar. The half-day seminars are $125.00. Note to Canadian credit card holders: the seminar fees are in USD, which will convert to CAD on your credit card.

  • Do I need to bring my camera?

    Because these seminars are lecture-based, you do not need to bring your camera, unless you want to use it to check specific settings or refer to it during sessions that cover technical aspects of the camera.

  • Can I tape the seminar?

    No, however, it is recommended you take notes with your laptop or a notebook, and you will also receive special handouts related to each seminar.

  • Will lunch be served during the seminar?

    Yes, lunch is served at all full-day seminars. We will include a selection of salads, sandwiches, deserts, drinks, and vegetarian options.

  • Is there parking at the venues?

    Some of the venues have parking, and others do not. We will make every effort to inform you of the best parking options.

  • Why is an upcoming seminar no longer in the dropdown menu on the registration form?

    Either the seminar is full, or the online registration period has closed.
